In this class participants will review how Hollywood is linked to self-esteem and how Hollywood both influences and is also negatively affected by body image pressures. Social media pros and cons will be discussed as will cultural, historical, and gender trends. Participant will be encouraged to analyze the connection between where trends come from, the Hollywood response, and how body image and self-esteem are highly affected by this situation.
